I'm going to be totally honest...I've never been a huge fan of Valentine's Day. If you're single during the holiday, and feel as though you have a void in your heart because of it, it's just a day filled with brutal reminders. For those in a relationship for the holiday, my perspective is simple--I would prefer that special someone to be kind, caring, and attentive all of the time, and give them the same in return.
With that being said, I definitely do appreciate the efforts that our significant others put into making the day special. My point is that I'd just like to be treated similarly year-round. Isn't that how it should be?
Anyway, I'm not totally anti-Valentine's Day. Flashback to Valentine's Day last year. Ty was in Toledo Bend, where he loves to go fishing. We were living an hour apart from one another, and Toledo adds about another hour to the distance. Ty left the lake to come and pick me up from work. For those of you who don't know Ty, that alone was a big deal because he literally LIVES to hunt and fish. When he showed up to take me to dinner, he had cupcakes and flowers for me. It was beyond sweet and certainly didn't go unnoticed. If I remember correctly, Valentine's Day was on a Tuesday last year. We rarely saw each other during the week because of the distance, so I was ecstatic to see him, especially in the middle of the week like that! The only downfall to the whole ordeal was that I was in scrubs and tennis shoes, since I was going with him straight from work. I don't want anyone else to celebrate their Valentine's Day feeling [looking] less than stellar, so I've put some Sebree Boutique Valentine's Day outfits together for you!
This outfit is a stunning dressy-casual option. Burgundy and black are major color trends at the moment, along with the tassel trend. So, what I'm saying is that there is literally no way that you can go wrong with this option. The bag is so versatile and can be used for Valentine's Day and long after! The size of it is perfect. It is small enough to stay out of your way for the evening, but large enough to turn into your 'everyday' bag. The studded detail adds a crisp feel to the look and keeps the classic black leather fresh and modern. If Ty and I could celebrate the day with a nice dinner together, this is the outfit that you'd catch me wearing!

If you're looking for something a little more boho, or not feeling the whole dress vibe, this is the outfit for you! This style of palazzo pants is my personal fave. They're long, so they make you look slender and they're perfect with wedges. They are fitted in all the right places (aka they make you look like you've got a booty). We love these pants paired with the black top, which has a crop length hem in the front, making it the perfect compliment to the high waistline of the pants. The tassel earrings complete the boho look, and the metallic bag with the ringlet was a major trend in the winter, and will definitely be a major trend for the spring. Plus, you just can't go wrong with gold. It goes with EVERYTHING!

This is the simple and sweet version of a Valentine's Day outfit. It's comfortable and casual, and still stylish. No need to be over-the-top. Keep things simple and just spend some quality time with that special someone. This top is beautiful and is so versatile! Leave it hanging out, or tuck it into the pants. You can wear it long after Valentine's day by tucking it into skirts for work and play. Maybe even tie the bottom pieces together and pair it with blue jean shorts. Black is always a go-to color, and the fact that these pants are distressed make them a must-have piece for your wardrobe. The shoes--OMG! LOVE! They are from one of my favorite suppliers. Fit is true to size, and the quality is amazing!!! Both pieces of jewelry will give this outfit its finishing touches. I'm all about simple necklaces, like this one with the opal stone. They are perfect with just about any outfit and really give you a 'put together' look. The ear jackets are the current statement pieces for any outfit, so you can do no wrong by wearing these.

I'm in love with this plus size shift dress. It's just too pretty! And these booties...they're even better in person--the feel, the look, the fit, EVERYTHING! They have a sock-like structure that hugs your ankle and lower calf and a shining velvety texture. I love carrying over the idea of the blush from the flowered details over into the necklace. If you want to look like a total bombshell, finish the look with LipSense. It'll last all day and night--kisses and all!
